Wedding Decorations - Get The Look You Want With The Budget You Have

Your wedding day is an event that you will remember for the rest of your life. For this reason, you want to make it as special as possible. Every bride dreams of creating a truly memorable wedding day but many worry about cost. The truth is, you can have a gorgeous wedding but without spending thousands of dollars. In fact, with the right decorations, the church and reception hall can be beautifully adorned. The key is spending money on the right decorations for a perfect wedding. So, here are a few tips on how to get the look you want with the budget you have.
Many couples working with a budget find themselves disappointed with the selection of halls or churches that they can afford for the wedding. Sometimes, the hall is too gloomy and dark, it might have stark white walls, or perhaps the reception hall is painted a shade that completely clashes with the wedding colors. If this type of reception hall is all you can find within your financial means, then use decorations to mask inadequacies or brighten things up.
Although you will have a wide variety of decorations to choose from, often a bride will opt for flowers as a way to breathe life into a room. For example, place a small wedding arch at the entrance of the reception hall, or decorate the room with colored bells positioned throughout the hall. Remember, adding accents of color is an excellent way to change both the look and feel of a room. Depending on your choices, you can bring warmth to a cold feeling room or create a sense of vibrancy for a darker room.
Decorating a wedding that is scheduled near a major holiday can be exciting. Valentine's Day, for example, is a great time to get married. Decorate the church and reception hall with hearts, puffy clouds, and other seasonal decorations. For a Fall wedding, take advantage of the traditional colors associated with harvest. For instance, use various colored leaves for centerpieces or hang them from the ceiling. Even a cowboy or swinging 60’s themed wedding could be enhanced with the right decorations.
Many brides believe that elaborate decorations are extremely costly or difficult to find. However, you would be amazed at what a little creativity will do. For instance, gather your friends and family before the wedding and host a decoration party. In addition to making decorations by hand, you are also creating an occasion for family and friends to mingle and share stories. Obviously, the money you would save is tremendous over the cost of store bought items.
Decorations for your wedding are only limited by your imagination. If you have a plain dance floor, purchase a dozen helium balloons matching the wedding colors. Then, use coordinating ribbon tied to a small sandbag and place the balloons at the corners of the floor or randomly around the dance area. For centerpieces, you could purchase glass globes at a local hobby store. Spray paint dried lima beans gold or silver and fill each globe halfway with the colored beans. Then, in the center of each globe, place a colored tea light candle.
In conclusion, use color to change to feel of sterile or stark white rooms. Lighter or brightly flowers will add warmth to darker settings. Wedding decorations do not have to be expensive to be beautiful. Just use your imagination and the help of family or friends to achieve the look you want with the budget you have.

Many people start with balloons bouquets. Scattered around the party room they give a feeling of the party flowing throughout the room. Balloon bouquets can be places on a table or be adding more ribbon, floor standing. Balloon bouquets have at least 3 latex balloons arranged on each bouquet. Table displays don't exceed 7 balloons unless the room has a tall ceiling, while floor standing displays can offer larger designs.

Every balloon bouquet should look identical with each balloon set at equidistant heights. As a guide each balloon should be 7" higher than the previous. If guests are sitting down at the table, balloons should not block vision. The lowest balloon on a table decoration should therefore be above the average persons line of sight. Loose Ribbon ends are curled by tightly pressing a blunt edge of a pair of scissors against the ribbon while at the same time moving the scissors across the ribbon piece. To finish the look, the opposite end of the ribbon is tied to a weight. Weights are usually "plaster of paris" wrapped in a sparkly designed shape, coloured to match one of more of the balloon colours. Star shaped weights are common.

Highlighted areas such as top tables, cake tables and stages can be highlighted with archways, cloud nines, added foil balloons and larger floor displays.
Choosing Balloon Colours.

Archways
Balloons are tied to a mono-filament line and attach a weight at each end of the line. Each balloon should be of the same distance apart from the next same sized balloon.

Cloud 9
A single Cloud Nine Balloon Display (also known as Floating Clouds) are one of our most popular balloon decorations for Weddings and Parties. The balloon display looks fantastic above a top table, over a stage area or buffet table.

Cluster garlands
...are layers of 4 or 5 air-filed balloons, stacked and tied together. While helium is not required, the correct size of each balloon is essential for the tower to stay together.

Right colours, Right Room
Make sure your choice of balloon colours will blend with colours in the room. The balloon display below shows the balloon colours match seating, curtains and carpet colours.

Shades
Table balloon bouquets usually consist of 3 of 5 balloons. (Maybe more for the top table). Try using different colour shades for each balloon within the bouquet. We were asked to decorate a garden party for a christening with white and 2 different shades of pink balloons.

Crystal Clear
While you maybe certain of your main balloon colour, choosing a complementing colour may not be so easy. How about not having a second colour ? Our Clear balloonworked really well.

Offset one dark colour balloon with 4 light coloured balloons.
For a wedding a customer requested 4 ivory balloons and one burgandy for each table. Looks Great !

Black isn't a first choice colour balloon for many people. But when complemented with a 2 pink balloons it looks a great combination.

Air balloons
A number of matching coloured air-filled balloons can be blown and placed on the floor. The picture shows matching pink balloons on the floor around tables and dance floor area. Simple but effective.

Archways
Archways add great focal point to the room.

Double Bubble
If you are having balloon bouquets displays on every table, add something extra to the top table such as a foil top (a foil balloon added to the top of the bouquet) or a double bubble (adding a large clear balloon around the highest positioned balloon).

The most important and more focusable issue is how to decorate the wedding hall and what efforts are needed for the decoration? For decoration of wedding, you should arrange meetings with your event organizer and plan for wedding decoration.

You said yes. First of all, congrats! Now it’s time to plan. For starters you can’t just jump right into it. I mean, it’s also time to cast off the dreams you had as a little girl and plan a real wedding. You have a budget. You have to tailor it to your guests, the weather, and location. It’s going to be a lot of work, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun either.
Once you hammer out the foundational particulars, you can get to the decorating. The road pans off in many directions at this point. It’s easy to understand. Different people have different tastes.
Get a nice board view first. You need to conceptualize the whole scene. There is a really good site for this: DecorWedding.com. The site breaks everything down too. It goes from location (ie. Outdoors, Church, Beach) to table layouts and themes.
